75% of investors have lost over 50% of their investment value and 25% will make a loss if the business was sold at cost.

Insight

Opportunity to keep the business with a different dynamic by providing complementary service to the shoe industry.

Result

A new business plan of providing shoe care services was drawn up and inventory sold (albeit at loss) to resolve immediate debt. The funds from inventory sales were used to set up the new model which also attracted an investor.
